It fits into CF card type II slots and via an adapter also into PCMCIA slots of any kind of mobile device. The 13,56 MHz PCMCIA/CF Handheld Reader replaces the ACG Multi ISO Plug-In Reader RDHP-0206P0.
The OMNIKEY® 4553 HF Mobile reader is a highly integrated contact less short range read write device that supports ISO14443A/B, ISO15693, ISO18000-3, NFC and EPC RFID-devices, inclusive the whole Mifare® family. The module has a built in antenna. It fits into CF card type II slots and via an adapter also into PCMCIA slots of any kind of mobile device. The integrated technology enables a state of the art security level. This RFID read/write unit is optimized for maximum data throughput rates on both, the air interface as well as the serial interface. The built in boot-loader enables firmware field upgrades via the serial interface.
